24k Nudes!

Over the weekend I was the lucky recipient of a package of Maybelline products free for me to sample.  The package included a makeup palette, the Maybelline push up mascara, and a turquoise pencil eyeliner. I'm not much of a colored eyeliner type of girl but I've been dying to get my hands on the push up mascara for quite some time. I've just been waiting for my other mascaras to be used up before I bought a new one.  The pallet included a bunch of gold-ish shimmer  shades with a few light nude matte  shades.  Seeing as how my skin tone is medium/tan, the matte shades were  A little too light for me to use as a transition color in my crease, however I did have a random darker color in my drawer of eyeshadows I used instead.  Overall I was super impressed with how easily the eyeshadows blended, people talk down about drugstore products but Maybelline is one of my favorite brands that is affordable and widely available.  If anybody knows me they know I'm not very patient so I hate ordering make up online.  The shimmer shades were a bit hard to use unless I wet my brush first,   After which they worked extremely well and looked absolutely beautiful on the eyelid.  The push-up mascara was everything I thought it would be in more, I had seen videos on YouTube of people using it and saying it was super amazing and I've been waiting to try it for myself and I'm so glad Influenster sent me a sample to try!  That is one mascara that I will definitely be trying again when this one runs out. I find myself not impressed with most mascaras I buy these days, whether it be from the drugstore or higher end.  Only once or twice have I ever bought the same mascara that I had just finished using because I was so impressed with it, and Maybelline has so many amazing products I usually stick with them when I'm sampling new ones. I recently had bought the big shot mascara and then this one came in the mail and I'm so happy that it did because I don't even use my big shot anymore.  I definitely recommend the 24k nude palette from Maybelline to anybody as a daily go to palette for a soft natural look or there are a few darker shades to darken it up and make a more evening work or something cute for going out.
